OUR LANDSCAPE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
integrates a passion for beauty with a commitment to sustainability
and biodiversity. Native plants, organic gardening and sacred
architecture are common elements in our design solutions.
Who is this garden for? Will there be different
"domains" for different family members—a play
area for kids, or a meditation garden for Mom at the end of the
day? What is the flow through garden "rooms," and how
will the outside spaces be integrated with interiors of the home
(views from bedroom window, kitchen)? What structures will be
needed to define space, create privacy and flow, support growing
plants, provide shade? These are some of the questions we explore
with clients as we develop our unique designs.
The Gentle Gardener offers two levels of
design assistance: Garden "Coaching" and Custom Garden Design.
